Following a long break from the label, Tectonic Records boss Pinch is back on his own imprint with The Obsession (Possession) EP. For the A-side, Pinch embellishes a desolate, bass-heavy backdrop with meticulous noise snippets with the added stabs giving the piece a militant persona. Over on the flip, Berlin don Shed offers his interpretation, adding more circling interference and greater swing for a rolling bass / techno hybrid that’s sure to bruise anyone in its way.
