London-based techno purveyors Ear To Ground mark their tenth release by handing solo EP honours to one of the key members of their crew – Dax J. Branded the Sephora EP, the London producer keeps the floor ticking with a collection of bold, hook-heavy configurations. A jacking beat underpins ‘Corinthians’ with the precision engineered hi-hats cutting right through whilst ‘Blade Runner’ pushes the imprint’s trademark sci-fi aura with some red alert key melodies. Similarly punishing is ‘Tunnels’ whilst Emmanuel’s remix of the same cut draws out a hidden hypnotic essence. Topping off the release are two tripping locked grooves and the regular high quality ETG artwork.
