Vancouver three-piece punk outfit White Lung are back with their third raucous full-length on Domino Recordings. Deep Fantasy will do little to sway detractors of the band or genre, but those who like their punk hard, riff-heavy and fired off at two-minute intervals like mortar rounds will be ecstatic. Vocalist Mish Way is in rare, fiery form on cuts like ‘Snake Jaw’ and single ‘Drown With The Monster’, and has never been so cleanly produced. The rhythms from drummer Anne-Marie Vassiliou are rock solid and guitarist Kenneth Williams lashes out some memorable riffs, including ‘Wrong Star’.
