Londoner Visionist returns to Tokyo’s Diskotopia label for the first time since 2011’s Rock The Flock, and he’s packing heat. ‘Can’t Forget’ is an absolute monster of a tune that manages to kill without ever really dropping. Ghostly vocals are layered with sparse, booming drums, subtly building to a bass-free climax that still hits like a gut punch. Moiré, another hotly tipped London producer, pops up on remix duty, slathering the already skanky sample in VHS delay and adding pumping kicks and hi-hats.
