Italian producer AD Bourke returns to Five Fold Records with his second offering Equal Turns EP following his excellent debut release Prelude. Building around lush synth washes and swinging motor city grit, the release opens with the fragmented bounce of ‘Divvy’ followed by deeper than the ocean atmospherics on ‘Driving Flow’. On the flip, ‘Redlight’ represents something a little different, centring in on more electro-tainted, detuned chords and clinical percussion whilst ‘Naked Eye’ closes in a cloak of shimmering beauty with its sophisticated grand piano chords and treated wah-wah guitar picks.
