South London's hotly tipped Darq E Freaker, name ringing thanks to some notable production work for Danny Brown among others, drops his anticipated Numbers debut. Those familiar with his sound will not be disappointed, though they may be taken aback by the scope of his latest. ‘Minger’, a choppy electro-trap monster of a track, is easily the biggest, boldest tune the budding producer has released thus far. Flip-side ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah (Dun Know)’, sporting a sinister hip-hop bounce and hypnotic vocal sample, is a more than worthy counterpart.
