Wire bassist Edvard Graham Lewis returns to Editions Mego with a compilation of soundtracks, installation works and short stories, mastered by Russell Haswell. ‘All Under’ emerged as a real time improvisation to Gunilla Leander’s eponymous short film which depicts people wrestling under water, the dense score following their flowing movements through the liquid. The loop Lewis contributed to the installation version of the piece mines even deeper levels of drone and distortion. The soundtrack ‘No Show Godot’ explores more industrial territories. ‘The Eel Wheeled’ is a sound and spoken word piece written and performed by Lewis himself, his voice caught within throbbing percussion and uneven textures.
