Aesop present The Duchess EP – the debut release from talented, up and coming Londoner Tala. Drawing on her influences of Iranian heritage, computer game soundtracks and 90’s hip hop, Tala pairs her distinctive, confident vocals to rich, electronic production resulting in a potent form of eclectic, alternative pop. ‘Serbia’ sees big beats, blistering synth chords and dramatic vocals coming together into a bold anthem whereas title piece ‘The Duchess’ focuses more on a bass heavy drum arrangement that's easily suited to the dance floor.
