Dresden's BreakSL proffers the 21st release on Uncanny Valley. 'Atlantic Ocean Road' is as emotive as it is robotic, as icy-cool synth washes and crisp percussion meet friendly gurgles and flourishes. The guttural bassline of 'FM4 Life' propels it through its synth blasts and percussive pauses. 'Trocadéro', with its found sound and rattling percussion, evokes balmy evenings defined by hope and regret, while the thump and hiss of 'Malstrøm' is as redolent of Kraftwerk as it is of maudlin dancefloor contemporaries like Palms Trax.
