Dutch pioneer and 3024 label head Martyn offers a preview to his upcoming LP The Air Between Words on Ninja Tune with the Forgiveness EP. As always with the Dutchman, each of the three cuts offer a fusion of multiple stands of house, techno and bass music. This is particularly evident on the anthemic ‘Glassbeadgames (8 Hours at Fabric Dub)’ where Kieran Hebden AKA Four Tet joins in, offering his trademark thumb piano decoration to compliment Martyn’s multi-layered approach and swinging UK garage inflicted percussion.
