Finally repressed. Whilst a regular on the Dutch imprint Frustrated Funk, Marco Bernardi’s Never Ending Similarities EP made his debut release on the imprint’s sub-label Harbour City Sorrow. The release sees the British producer exploring an emotive area that draws the best bits from electro, techno and house with the multiple string layers on ‘Interfusion Biamp’ joining in harmony to compliment the crisp electro beat. Next, ‘Demontia’ is beautiful, pairing tinny, filtered percussion to a warm, melodic glow and finally landing on the slower chug of ‘Never Ending Similarities’ with its bolder drum patterns.
