Narcotic grooves abound here on Parisian DJ Francois X's first solo release on his own Dement3d label. 'Elusive Morality' takes a single jutting groove that subtly modulates over a pulsating rhythm throughout its seven minutes. 'Iterative Choir' is similarly relentless, yet throws syncopated distortion into the frenzied mix. Acid gurgles take the lead on 'Espheni' a smoke machine of a track that leaves you wanting more, while the eery beatlessness of 'Particules Elementaires' closes proceedings in haunting fashion, its panoramic strings swirling with reckless abandon.
