Moscow-based Gesloten Cirkel releases his debut album on Murder Capital. Opener 'Zombiemachine Acid' sets the tone with its harrowing bass and disembodied orders to "follow your leader" - when 'Zombiemachine' follows and goes harder, you know this won't be an easy ride. Those dark utterances appear throughout, making the album feel like an excitable German horror film from the 1980s. 'Chatters' is perfect video game music, while 'Arrested Development' is a gloriously irreverent throwback techno jam. More than just electro, techno or a combination of both, this is a heady mix that deserves and demands your attention.
