Deep, groove-laden subdued acid from Berlin stalwart Recondite. Launching on his very own Plangent imprint, cuts like Felicity and Sultry are testament to his patience and skill as a producer. None of these songs sound directly aimed at the dance floor but the subtle melodies and clever structures make them as fit for deep hypnotic main room sessions as they are personal headphone stints. Two remixes also included on this release. One highlight in the form of the ever-reliable Scuba transforming Jaded into an eyes-down whirlpool – stripping the track of its original minimalism.
