FaltyDL returns to Loefah’s Swamp81 with the Power EP, his first for the imprint since the huge two part series Mean Streets. On the A-side the Brooklyn producer traverses between freeform jazz, dub and bass music on ‘Huff & Puff Bruk’ with an ice-cold horn sample coming together beautifully with a crisp, bass-heavy drum arrangement. Over on the B-side find the dance floor destroyer ‘Mo’ with its tranquil ambient opening and raving, nostalgia-laced drum breaks coming shortly after.
