Absolutely necessary third record of un-definable "electronic pop" (using those terms loosely) from Austrian duo, HTRK. This is bleak, unforgiving music... even the glimmers of light to permeate the shade are muted and cold... gaseous tones, liquid noise... this is a walking sound-dream ghosted by Mika Vainio, Alan Vega, Portishead, Zola Jesus, the hiss of frozen minimal waves crashing down at darkest, lowest shores. A startling work.
