Renowned DJ/producer Felix Dicksinson makes his Futureboogie Recordings debut with pair of kinky house cuts, plus remixes from Hackman and Machete Savant. On ‘Burning Flame’, vocalist Kyle Chandler stretches out over a hypnotic house track, complete with jacking hats and a 303 bass line teased to perfection. ‘Seven Measures’, also featuring Chandler, is a sparse, almost Prince-like jam built around a finger-snapping beat, sensuously spare bass work and warm keys. Hackman infuses the title track with soulful electric piano and 808’s on his take, while Machete Savant fortifies the original’s bass line with disco friendly grooves and mysterious strings.
