Hotflush Recordings present an immense pair of remixes of Paul Woolford’s 2006 classic ‘Erotic Discourse’. London-based duo and Hotflush regulars Dense and Pika are up first, adding some serious seismic vibrations to those time-honoured clanging chords with the long drawn build up creating a huge pool of tension and an almighty release. Following on is Bristol’s Kowton (Livity Sound) whose take follows a more claustrophobic, grainier path with its stuttering pattern and deep bass depth charges.
