Musician and publisher (of journal The Travel Almanac) John Roberts returns to Dial Records for a no-holds-barred EP that sees the producer trade the intricately produced oddities of his Fences album for a more direct, clubbier approach. Ausio is a thoroughly bombastic affair, in which the Ohio-born, Berlin-based producer set his sights firmly on the floor. The brash title track takes up a full side, at a weighty eight minutes in length, while the more earthy B-side is composed of two more holistic numbers.
