André 300 continues his new chapter as a new age jazz specialist with this new compilation of tracks entitled Moving Day. Titled literally about a day in which the former ATLien moved to a new home in Venice Beach, the title track itself then works somewhere between soundtrack and diegetic sound, threading field recordings from the move with soothing drones as well as an interview of sorts with the man himself. It’s running mate in ‘Day Moving’ runs these recordings through filters, creating a storm of swirling loops and backmasked sounds that recall a tornado, while the closing ‘Tunnels of Egypt’ is an outtake from André's 2023 solo debut New Blue Sun.
