German producer Jan Jelinek took on a mammoth task back in summer 2013: holing up in his studio, selecting his ten favourite tunes from sample-hungry James DIN A4 (aka Dennis Busch) and giving each the remix treatment. The result is a feast for the ears and a triathlon for sound systems, with pounding, blurry house on ‘Heimkehr Der Vulgaren’, crazy acid chamber music on ‘Fahles Graz’ and diced-up disco on ‘Please Excuse My Face’. A lunging but detailed collection that’s guaranteed to get pulse rates soaring.
