Soul Jazz Records comes good with another monumental compilation, this time with Punk 45 Vol.3: Proto-Punk 1969 - 1977. After shining a light on the underground punk scene in the US on Vol.1 and its British equivalent on Vol.2, this edition looks at a selection of early, raw, forward thinking tracks from a range of obscure bands that eventually paved the wave for punk in the second half of the 1970s.
