Mexican DJ and producer Rebolledo lands on the ever-present German institution Kompakt with an eclectic mix CD entitled Moment Drive. Here, Rebolledo effortlessly weaves between a number of scintillating, psychedelic disco cuts and a range of unheard material from his own Pachanga Boys project. Edits from legendary Filipino guitarist Wally Gonzalez bookend the mix with proceedings then embarking on a dark cosmic journey stopping at the tenacious groove of ‘Flash (Pachanga Boys Remix)’ from Stove, the smoky bass of ‘Pork Chop Express’ from The Love Supreme and the synapse singeing synth chords on Justus Khancke’s ‘Homegen’.
