4AD reissue one of their classics as a remastered vinyl version and 24-bit WAVs. Originally released in 1990, Heaven Or Las Vegas is now seen as one of the seminal albums of that decade. Being the Scottish group’s last album on 4AD, it would be become their most commercially and critically successful. With Elizabeth Fraser’s joyful and breathy high-pitched vocals, their dreampop guitar chords and funky bass lines, their characteristic shoegaze aesthetic sounds vital even now. Its rhythms have a meditative, psychedelic feel to them, but it is the catchy hooks that really place Heaven Or Las Vegas in the highly regarded position it occupies today.
