Copenhagen imprint Echochord continues their relationship with Greek dub-techno producer Fluxion with a new full length entitled ‘Broadwalk Tales’, which features guest vocals from Teddy Selasie. Having released on the likes of Type and Basic Channel, the artist’s output has already received much critical attention, yet ‘Broadwalk Tales’ sees the producer effusing to rest on his laurels and expanding his sound to a more vocal-led, cinematic template. Though earlier releases were scattered with vocal snippets, Fluxion’s new approach allows soaring lead lines from Selasie to dictate the music’s flow, making for a commanding and refreshing listen.
