Unknown Precept unleashes its second release in the form of Damaskin’s Unseen Warfare. Here Damaskin joins the dots between the noise-driven experimentation of Einstürzende Neubauten and Perc’s hard, rolling rhythms with the opening title piece ‘Unseen Warfare’ a clattering affair with a scruffy groove. Next up we have the slow, brooding ‘Glory’ with its hissing interference whereas the following ‘Remembrance Of Death’ is a slice of industrial grade techno running on screeched vocals and dry percussive loops. Finally ‘Contra Theatra’ rounds off dramatically, unleashing a hefty bass drum and epic distortions for a true destroyer.
