Italian producer Andrea is back once again on Ilian Tape for a new album of bright (outdoor) club fare entitled Living Room. Always the dreamier, more pensive foil to his fellow Italian label confidant Stenny, recent Ilian Tape dispatches from Andrea have leaned even further away from the dancefloor, which makes the title of this relative refocus on movement something of a clever misnomer. Tracks like the buzzing ‘Night Zoom’ and the broken breakbeat ‘Pure Morning’ are among his most hyperactively rhythmic tracks, leaving plenty of space for the patches in between to work their magic.
