New Zealand brothers Chaos In The CBD launch into the future on UTTU sub-label Hot Haus Recs. Known for its up-tempo releases that are swathed in an air of frivolity, Hot Haus has mined a gem with this one. The title track is brimming with pummelling energy, reverbed bass-lines and banging beats overlain with ethereal, stargazing synths. Speaking of stargazers, Legowelt is on hand to direct 'Delorean Dreams' skywards. Undulating rhythms and shaky pianos meet sinister stabs and 90s techno strings. It's classic Legowelt in other words. 'Okinawa Race' is an appropriately fast-paced number that sees the brothers mix modulated claps and soaring riffs with repetitive bass leads.
