London producer Facta is back on his own Wisdom Teeth for a new mini-album of brightly-coloured dancefloor fillers entitled GULP. The result of a quick burst of inspiration beyond tour dates at the tail end of 2024, Facta weaves many of Wisdom Teeth sound hallmarks he’s helped cultivate as de facto A&R into a thrillingly cohesive collection of retro-leaning yet forward-thinking club cuts. Everything from turn of the century minimalism to jacking 90s Chicago house to skyward chill out gets thrown into the blender here, resulting in tracks like ‘Jets’ that glide along on rhythms that feel both familiar and new at the very same time.
