London’s Sigha continues to cloud the borders of techno, experimental and industrial music with this six piece collection entitled The Purification Loops out on his own Avian Sound Imprint. Shunning the feel of meticulous construction, each of the six loops capture a moment, rhythm and feeling emanating from the machines at a particular time. Swaying from erosive, repetitive pulsations of ‘Loop One’ to stripped and overdriven (‘Loop 2’) to the swelled and engulfing ‘Loop 4’, each of these portions function perfectly as layers or standing alone.
