Minneapolis’ own DVS1 readies his second outing on his solo imprint Hush, which focuses on only putting out his own personal tracks. Across the two cuts, DVS1 demonstrates his knowledge of the fundamentals of a functioning techno track. First up is ‘Lost Myself’, a trance-inducing excursion constructed from the purest of elements for maximum impact; next things get deeper on ‘S.O.S’ where a perpetual drive is created through an uncluttered arrangement - purist techno at its finest.
