Berlin-based producer Tony Lionni singles out a standout cut from his excellent 2013 Madhouse Recordings debut Just A Little More. ‘Do You Believe’ is a vintage jazzy house groove, complete with twinkling keys, crisp drum work, a supple bass line and soulful vocals from Maria Marcial. Funk D’Void aka Francois Dubois chips in a tense, spacey remix, pitching the vocals way down and adding layer after layer of moody synths. Lionni’s Italian born Berlin neighbour Martin Paling contributes a swinging upbeat house mix as well, complete with an absolutely stunning piano breakdown.
