London based producer Dauwd lands on the legendary German imprint Kompakt with his Kindlinn EP. It’s a release of rich, orchestrated textures, complying with the impeccable standards with which Kompakt are synonymous. The serene ‘Lydia’ leads off, brooding over a deep, lush bass line and a catchy synth doodle whilst B-side title track ‘Kindlinn’ exhibits a plush house groove with effective stabs. Finally Dauwd steps away from the 4/4 with the shimmering electronics of ‘Rain Raker’, rounding of an extremely solid debut EP on the well-respected German label.
