London-based producer/DJ Maya Jane Coles drops a top-notch set for fabric's landmark mix series. Coles follows her fine 2013 debut Comfort with a demonstration of her selecting skills, dropping a seemingly endless succession of choice house cuts. She touches many styles, from Ksky’s garage-flavoured ‘Madness (Volta Cab Remix)’ to Matthew Jonson’s Detroit-style ‘Level 7 (Dixon Remix)’ and DJ Yellow & Flowers and the Sea Creatures’ emotive ‘No One Gets Left Behind’, bumping up the energy as the mix goes on. She also contributes the hypnotic ‘Premonition’, an unreleased original with a spaced-out synth-line and airtight swing.
