Montreal ambient producer Drew Gragg follows up his self-titled download from 2012 with this six-track mini-album, one that’ll appeal to fans of modern classical and dub techno nuts who need a stomach settler. ‘Over Under’ is apparently inspired by the lifting of boredom by ideas, and uses a minimal techno pallet to colour in its vision: house slabs smothered in tape hiss on ‘Ostinate’, trippy pads and the faintest of beats on ‘C Trigger’, downtempo jazz percussion on ‘Adsr Toms’. An intriguing collection of minimal electronica that maintains the high standard Other People have held since 2013.
