Exploring a more contemplative mood, here Upton reflects on the mysterious nature of Western Europe’s stone formations with a collection of hardware-heavy pieces. A dark, brooding pattern opens up ‘Auld Keig’ moving to whining acid arrangements on ‘Keuswask’ to glistening synth keys on ‘Glantane’. We dive deeper on ‘Lady Of The Lady’ where a more sub-aquatic feel prevails whilst the legendary British spiritual centre is immortalised on the enigmatic ‘Glastonbury’.
