Bristol’s Asusu sees his incredible cut ‘Velez’ from his standout 2013 EP on Livity Sound treated to two reinterpretations courtesy of broken beat, techno configurations specialist Dave Huismans AKA A Made Up Sound. On the A side remix, the focus is solely on the rhythm, bass and percussion resulting in a hypnotic techno roller that will manipulate the dance floor. Flipping over we find ‘Remix 2’, where torrents of sub-bass collide with a niggling synth pattern for a swinging bass / techno hybrid in true AMUS style.
