Experimental techno innovator Beau Wanzer returns to melt faces once again on his own eponymous imprint for the latest entry in his Untitled series. Acid-fried electronics and broken beats are the hallmarks here as always, but Wanzer continues to find new avenues to explore within this series’ limited palette for the 2025 edition. The rumbling ‘Excellent Exaggerator’ kicks itself to life over the runtime like a beater car that needs a few metres to get into gear, while it’s running mate ‘Better Judgement’ plays like a hardcore tape left outside in the rain, all graining distortion on the vocals and white-hot clipping on the relentless kicks.
