Magic Touch, former Mi Ami member Damon Palermo, follows a string of recent EPs and singles with his first full-length for 100% Silk. Keeping with house gang motif, Palermo recruits a number of friends to aid in his 90’s house revival, including Newbody, Ash Williams and label mate Michael Bouldry-Morrison aka Octo Octa. The Bouldry-Morrison assisted tunes, the bright, Todd Edwards-esque ‘You’ and the hypnotic 13-minute ‘House Of Intuition’, are especially on point. Other highlights include pumping, piano and conga-laced ‘It’s Love’, Miami freestyle flavoured ‘Passion’ and disco-fied closer ‘Calabria’.
