Manchester’s Modern Love regular Claro Intelecto sees his 2003 debut EP Piece Of Mind reissued by Delsin. Opening up is ‘Piece of Mind (Electrosoul)’, a glossy house/electro hybrid backed by a gentle melody and long, lush strings whilst ‘Tone’ is much rougher round the edges, where rampant acidic patterns rub shoulders with scruffy percussion whilst still all contained in an electro framework. Turning over, ‘Contact’ flaunts a dubby, Chicago-inspired bass line, locking the listener into a deep groove whereas final track ‘Signifier’ wraps things up in a tranquil mood with its whirlpool synths and crisp percussion.
