Irish producer Mano Le Tough unveils his debut release for his own imprint Maeve Records with the Tempus EP. Warm tones are found on opener ‘Tempus’ which patiently develops over a rounded kick and an array of quirky, effects-riddled samples that give way for an uplifting melody towards the end of the cut. The tempo is dropped for ‘Return To Yoz’ – a sentimental piece exhibiting a searing synth pattern whereas ‘Sorry Is A Useless Word’ is a slightly left-of-centre house cut that centres on an uplifting melody.
