Berlin DJ/producer Alex Kassian returns to Test Pressing Records for another entry in their rework series, this time tackling the massive Spooky single ‘Orange Coloured Liquid’ off the house duo’s 1993 debut LP Gargantuan. Kassian stretches this early 90s slice of UK rave momentum into a breezy but towering piece of motorik drum break sweetness that stretches across two sides of vinyl. John Beltran adds another version under his Placid Angles moniker, offering a dreamier take that recalls some of that era’s best shoegaze/club collisions in its palpable density.
