This Anglo-French indie pop band has been kicking around since 2005 when Gerard Black, Fráncois Marry and others released the folk-edged ‘People To Forget’. Having since signed to Domino they’re back with a fourth album of disco-ready guitar tunes, including the sleek ‘80s keyboard pop of the title track and French-language jangle-funk ‘La Vérité’. Domino know where to look for left-field indie pop and ‘Piano Ombre’ is a brilliant example, quirky and emotive in equal measure.
