Austin-based producer Shawhin Izaddoost aka VVV follows releases on Fortified Audio and Sound Of The Cosmos with a debut release on Hush Hush Records entitled Separate Planes. Leading off with ‘Present Tense’, VVV crafts a deeply immersive and textured backdrop from naturally sourced field samples and chopped vocals, whilst echoed voices on the title piece add to the emotional effect. Similarly dreamy is ‘Turn Away’, building on a scarce, considered beat and buried chords with the hazy, dub slurry of ‘Exaltation’ wrapping things up perfectly.
