Nudist brings two cuts of elegant house music to the Roska Kicks & Snares imprint. ‘What You Gonna Do’ impresses in its variety of elements, with 8-bit video game synths, and snatches of garage vocals peppering a muscular house shuffle to create an effect that is at once nostalgic and physical. B-side ‘Crossroad Wishes’ is a tender hip-hop ballad which is similarly wistful yet strident, and Roska and Nudist’s refix of the single’s lead track makes it leaner and funkier, with snippets of the original appearing over a snappy 2-step base.
