The multi-talented Ross Tones returns with a strictly limited twelve that sees him team up with fellow graduate of Red Bull Music Academy New York Adda Kaleh, who lends her slurred, breathy vocals to the whirling synth attack of ‘The Tempest’, lead track on this very colourful collection. ‘Caedis’ sees Tones drop down several gears for a shuffling folktronica instrumental, while the title track plays with frantic sitars and ethnic drums so fast you’d have to be an Olympic acrobat to keep time with them. It’s still worth trying though.
