Long-time dub techno producer Deadbeat teams up with popular toaster Paul St Hilaire for The Infinity Dub Sessions, their first full length collaborative release. Formally known as Tikiman, St Hilaire is best known for his extensive collaboration with Mark Ernestus & Moritz Von Oswald’s legendary Rhythm and Sound partnership; here he’s in full force, offering his poetic, free-flowing lyrics to Deadbeat’s liquid dub atmospheres. It’s easy to get lost in the tranquil ‘Working Everyday’ where the layers of sub-bass flow free over the glowing dub-chords whereas ‘Under Cover’ is more up-tempo, tempting for any selector looking for a deeper-than-deep moment on the dance floor.
