Groundbreaking Zambian band Musi-O-Tunya fused funk, psychedelia, and Afrobeat on their second album Give Love To Children. Now-Again’s deluxe version, initially put out in 2013, marked the first time the album had been reissued on vinyl and came bundled with an additional 7” and a book of liner notes, photos, and interviews. This 2015 repress comes at an opportune time, following the inclusion of ‘Bashi Mwana’ in an episode of FX’s ‘Fargo’ TV series. The album’s grooves are freeform and funky, while the fuzzy guitars sound positively explosive.
