Uwe Schmidt continues to issue his extensive back catalogue for download with 1997's 'Digital Superimposing', a 69 minute piece of bracing, evolving noise. Passages of scorched ambience swirl into buzzing noise, hints of melody buried in static, while things become considerably darker towards the end of the piece with glitching, digital static taking over. An involving journey from a true sound design master.
