Following their album ‘Days’, Real Estate return with an expanded line-up on Domino with new album ‘Atlas’ in the wake of excellent lead single ‘Talking Backwards’. ‘Talking Backwards’ is a summery indie pop tune, all twanging guitars and pattering drums, with a subtle underlying melancholy, the singer bemoaning a long-distance relationship which is reaching a low. Judging by the yearning beauty achieved here and the precision of the production from Tom Schick, expectations for the LP are justifiably high.
